Basic informations
Concrete and constructions department deals with standard and nonstandard, in-situ and laboratory and destructive and nondestructive testing of fresh and hardened cement-based materials, investigations of reinforcement steel, test of various construction elements made of concrete and steel, etc. We perform production capacity control of concrete producing plants, introduce new testing of fresh and hardened cement-based materials and development new concrete technologies. Our clients are offered consultancy in concrete technology, expertise and analyses.
Within the concrete and constructions department, sewerage system leak proofness testing is also performed. We control various geotechnical and other types of anchors, perform inspection of bridges and other civil engineering structures aimed to determine their lifespan, durability, etc. We perform internal and external quality control of different concrete works, equipment of roads, railways, bridges, and other engineering structures, control of steel structures etc. We perform monitoring of buildings within influential area of construction side, rehabilitation projects, technological reports, research and development activities etc. Our important task is also to constantly educate both the employees and customers in order to enlarge the number of the investigations and to increase their quality and reliability.

- External and internal control:
- Lab testing of fresh and hardened concrete according to the standards
- Planning of fresh concrete composition
- Different concrete product and semi product testing and other construction material testing
- Sewerage system waterproofing testing
- In-situ nondestructive testing of concrete quality and reporting on concrete quality
- Detailed checks of demanding engineering facilities
- Renovation projects for concrete facilities and internal and external renovation works
- Consultancy and training in concrete technology
- Introduction of new advanced experimental testing and different research-development projects involving cement based materials
Activities of the department (constructions)
- Perform inspections of various engineering structures:
- control of the reinforcement within the concrete element (i.e. distribution of the reinforcement, thickness of the concrete cover, corrosion, control of the pre-stressed reinforcement, etc.)
- quality control of concrete (i.e. compressive strength, amount of chlorides and sulphates inside the concrete, degree of carbonization, ability of concrete to resist penetration of various aggressive substances, etc.)
- quality control of different secondary elements of civil engineering structures (dilatation joins, fences, etc.)
- quality control of welds, screw connections and structural steel
- quality control of construction steel, welds, and screws
- detailed visual inspections of civil engineering structures, identification of different failures, determination of their severity, capacity, origin of their occurrence, etc.
- Perform rehabilitations reports for various civil engineering structures
- Perform continuous observations of different buildings exposed to various (severe) environmental conditions
- Perform different laboratory investigations of various building materials and other secondary elements of engineering structures
- Develop, introduce, and perform new, advanced, and non-destructive experimental and numerical investigations for determination of various properties of building materials and constructions
- Parform advanced measurements and numerical modeling of the different properties of the materials
- Perform constant education of both the employees and customers
