The core activity is laboratory testing of:

• bitumen and bituminous products
• waterproofing stripes
• polymeric flooring and waterproofing materials
• polymeric mortar
• road salt

and in addition field work monitoring (pull-off testing, electrostatic resistance, etc.)

We are present in various projects in Slovenia and abroad in the context of internal and external quality control.

Waterproofing department within other Igmat departments participates in the development of research projects, education and actively participates in conferences and colloquiums. We are members of the Association of Asphalt Slovenia ZAS and Commission for waterproofing ZAS.
